This #GivingTuesday, we know there are a lot of options out there to support non-profits in doing good for our communities and our nation.
#GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good and GIVE to charities. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
As you look for opportunities to spread generosity, consider supporting what Single Parent Advocate does and what kind of impact your generous support of this outreach will have!
1 in 4 children in the US are growing up in a single parent home. Single mothers and fathers have much higher likelihood to live in poverty, as they face incredible work/life balance issues. Single Parent Families have unique needs and issues constantly affecting their inability to overcome ruin. The emotional and financial toll on most of these families is actually helping to create an even younger population of single parents who are just children themselves….especially during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Single Parent Advocate is committed to help build resource connections for families that help them to become more productive, more resourceful and more informed on how to be the best parent they can be for their children.
Single Parent Advocate has been actively supporting Single Parent Families throughout COVID in 2020 by providing food, school supplies, educational ZOOM meetings with professionals, and will also support families during the Holidays with a special outreach with safety in mind called “HOME for the Holidays”.
Your support will help volunteers, and team members stay involved, and help parents and children during these very unique times.
