In Honor of National Single Parent Day
In 2022, Single Parent Advocate leadership set out to create a celebration surrounding National Single Parent Day.
It was our inaugural event, and we feel it was very successful thanks to all the golf community, sponsors, and friends who joined in the fun. We call our Giving and Volunteering Community Life Changers.
This year, 2023, we are bringing this Celebrity tournament back to a larger venue, still very close to home, Hackberry Creek.
Many single parents find themselves alone, facing insurmountable demands, and our community comes beside them in ways they would not otherwise have for themselves, and their precious children and young adults.
We believe that the best thing you can do for a child is to give them the gift of a Happy, Healthy, Whole and Hopeful mom or dad. And that mom and dad, need a community, they need support, and they need encouragement.
So, we hope you will all be Life Changers, and join us as we have fun on the Fairways and pay it forward for these families who are nominated by area churches, schools, other non-profit organizations, and business associations.
