Looking back, we can often see times when a little help would have made a huge difference. And we’ve also seen how unexpected support, given with love, can arrive at just the right moment, changing someone’s future and giving them hope.
Friends, you’ve been incredible, transforming the lives of over 350 families we’ve had the privilege to support this year. Your generosity has touched countless single parents and their children throughout North Texas. With your help, we’ve provided vital resources like auto repair, school supplies, food, toys, bedding, family portraits, computer assistance, and most importantly, hope to families facing tough challenges. We’re committed to continuing to make a profound difference for single parents and their families for many years to come.
Our recent back-to-school giveaway was a huge success, ensuring 126 elementary students and 112 middle and high school students started the academic year with everything they needed. We all know how much back-to-school preparations have changed, and the timing often creates a significant financial challenge for parents transitioning from summer spending to fall school shopping. Thanks in large part to the proceeds from last year’s North Texas Giving Day, we were able to partner with parents, lifting a considerable burden. That’s “love in action,” Friends!

As North Texas Giving Day approaches, in partnership with the Communities Foundation of Texas, the need for all of us to come together grows even stronger. We dream of a community where single parents are empowered, not hindered, by their journey. Your invaluable support on this important day will fuel our mission to provide comprehensive resources, mentorship, and a caring network that single parents can truly rely on. Locally, we currently support over 250 families, including approximately 500 children and teenagers. Our goal is to continue this vital support and expand the resources we provide throughout this year of service.

Our organization is actively building capacity and diligently seeking sponsorships for these outreach initiatives, as well as for our annual Life Changer Celebrity Golf Classic and Murder Mystery Theatre Gala.
As we prepare for the exciting grand opening of our new office at The Meeting Place, conveniently located near the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce in Farmers Branch, TX, we sincerely hope you’ll consider providing ongoing monthly support. This will help us underwrite our increased presence for the families we currently serve, as well as those who will soon seek our assistance.
We anticipate a significant need for volunteers to assist with event planning and hosting for our upcoming 2025 Thanksgiving and Christmas events.
